PETALUMA, CA: Enphase Energy announces the expansion of its Enphase Energy Services (EES) business with efforts to reorganize solar photovoltaic (PV) asset management and operations and maintenance (O&M), and be ready to embrace the challenging future of broader-based maintenance and productivity service requirements of energy management systems.
To take the initiative forward, Enphase has also acquired substantially all of the assets of Berkeley based Next Phase Solar, provider of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for the U.S. solar PV industry. Powered with Next Phase Solar, EES gets a complete suite of solar O&M services optimized for system owners, equipment manufacturers, financiers, installers, and engineering, procurement, and construction contractors. It also includes services like preventive and corrective maintenance, asset management, warranty compliance, solar array cleaning, and system commissioning.
“The acquisition of Next Phase Solar’s assets strengthens EES’ comprehensive ability to proactively and cost-effectively operate and maintain residential, commercial, and utility-scale PV power plants within the U.S., regardless of manufacturer or brand, and marks Enphase’s latest effort to accelerate the mainstream adoption of solar energy,” says Paul Nahi, President and CEO of Enphase.
Enphase’s networked system which was designed to enable solar stakeholders to make informed O&M decisions keep capital outlays to a smallest amount, reduce time onsite, optimize system performance, and generate a faster return on investment for customers. With over 450 megawatts under management, EES works with system owners, operators, and installers to protect their solar investments with a scalable asset management and O&M services offerings, from concept through implementation to long-term maintenance.
“We have been impressed by Enphase’s successful track record and commitment to being a leader in energy management services,” says Adam Burstein, Founder of Next Phase Solar. “The synergy between the two companies will enhance our proven O&M and asset management expertise, and enable us to expand our service offerings exponentially.”
